If you love Rurouni Kenshin, but wish it was a little grittier, then Peacemaker Kurogane is for you! Set in Japan’s revolutionary period, the city of Kyoto looks to the ruthless band of swordsmen known as the Shinsengumi for protection. Ichimura Tetsunosuke, the main character and a real-life member of the Shinsengumi, joins the Shinsengumi to get revenge for his parents’ murders while his older brother, Tatsunosuke, joins to simply make a living. Tetsunosuke is the youngest member of the Shinsengumi at 16, and his quest for revenge coupled with his energetic personality leave lots of room for him to grow as he meets and works with legendary members of the Shinsengumi.

There is some black discoloration on the back of each of these manga as shown in photos. The edges and corners are well taken care of and there is no page yellowing.
